When you’re using pencils you don’t faff about; you have to get straight into the picture and make every line count and you have, with the face especially. I get the feeling that there’s a mind behind there and I’m wondering what she’s thinking. Definitely reminded me of the Abhorsen Trilogy. Well done!

They’re usually just depicted as a generally dead guy with decay or bones. Adding in the injury that originally killed him definitely adds something in my opinion.
