Hathor is a cow goddess, usually depicted with horns and a sun disk above her head. This picture reminds me of Bast, the cat goddess. Very well done 1

The emblem on her eye looks like one of the symbols for Ra. Perhaps she could be one of his daughters. However, the pharoh headdress, and the timid, shamed pose suggest that she is not actually a goddess, but really a reluctant slave meant to serve the god, or the priest. Her beauty is much like that of a goddess though... very lovely piece.

:-) James p olson replies: "well i was going for bastet when i drew her so that explains the eye of ra thing. the headdress is explained by my not being an expert on egyptian clothes haha.as for the pose....that which yields isnt always weak...."
