| 14 Jun 2003 | "H" | Loading...Don't limit your creativity to the boundaries of pre-set creatures, go ahead and make up your own!Hee. I think this is such a farcry from a gryphon, that it could technically be called my own. ^^ | |
| 11 Jul 2003 | Epesi | Loading...Now, that's a first! Hehe. I was just looking through the archive and had to comment on this. Well, the species may not be a horned owl, but since half of it is actually an owl with horns, it's an obvious target for confusion and even bad puns, though I can't think of any at the moment, fortunately for all you sane people (yes, all two of you cowering in the back!). Er, anyway, I like those ears. ^.^ Though the first part of the word "hippogriff" obviously means horse, the Warcraft universe seems to have a looser definition of a hippogriff, as theirs are half raven, half deer, and have antlers. o.O So in that case, this could easily qualify. What's this? Sane people? In my gallery!?! ^^ Hee, well if deer things can be hippogriffs, then gosh darn it, Nightowl should qualify too. ^_^ But of course, this raises the question, what would a hippo/bird cross be called? | |
| 16 Nov 2003 | Cloverius | Loading...I really like this piece, my friend GrimmHooke and I have a character that can shape-shift into an owl and at one point he had horns like a ram, I believe. Ironic. | |
| 16 Dec 2003 | Amory Koch | Loading...Very creative. You fit all the bits together so nicely. I don't know that I've ever heard of (or thought of) using a sheep as part of the griffon. One gets stuck in the predator mindset, I guess. I know she's not suppose to be any set type of owl, but I've worked with a lot and she looks quite a bit like a barn owl about the face, and a milky eagle owl about the eyes. (milky eagle owls ROCK!!!) and the wings look kinda like a great horned owl. So, very many owls together, but seeing as you can see all those in it, very owlish indeed. Does she have front legs? If so are they sheepish or owlish? A thought. I really like this one | |
