And this my children, is why we don't color pictres at 4 in the morning. Further proof that I can't use colored pencils. ^^ These guys are from the same story as mentioned in the Sketchies pic. The hyena looks rather stunned that the wild dog managed to stab him, and the wild dog looks equally stunned. He looks like he's thinking, 'I won? I won!!!' The line art was OK, but I ruined it when I colored it. For some reason the hyena looks somewhat Disneyish to me. *Shrugs* A least he doesn't resemble the Lion King hyenas at all.

(The wild dog is cool too!!)sigh Wild dogs are so under appreciated. I suppose he looks like Simba to half the population, but I'll live. Thanks for the comment!

30 Nov 2004	Starfish	Loading... i love the Lion King, its my favorite Disney film of all time and this picture unfortuately does resemble Sheznay from the Lion King, i'd love to see some pictures of dolphins and Elephants. And i am so jealous becouse i can't draw for peanuts Loving the pic
6 Oct 2005	Miracle Hyena <Techno_foxx@mac...com&	Loading... I love the wild dog!!! ~very well done. I'd of used photoshop, but map pencils hold certain value with some art. This is one of them.

One little trick I like to do with colored pencils is if soemthing looks sketchy but I don't want to darken it to smooth it out I will color over other colors with white, this smooths out most colored pencil markings except of course watch out for doing this on your foundationary lines >^.^< I do like the pic a lot, I thought I was the only one who like african wild dogs, majorly cool!
