SciFi and Fantasy Art Death Runner by J. Anette Jallow

My second coloured pic. I'm really starting to get the hang of it. I found another simple drawing, of a death runner, one of my weird creatures which I've gotten quite mean comments. Too many people get all 'eeuh' if they see a skull or a bony different creature. I draw theese cause I'm fascinated by the anatomy for creatures and their movements. A Death runner may look scary, but in reality is a really sweet and faithful creature. They have the skull of a human they still got the mind of a puppy.

Tried out some effects in this picture, the background, there's so many odd effects! It wasn't that hard to colour since i only used black, and some mixed colours at the face. But all the strange effects geez that was a puzzle.

MY PUPPY, MY BANANA DISHWASHING POTATOPOT! ... did you mention banana dishwashing potatopot?... ehm maybe not. But its mine either way! I won it fair and square at Crack-jackpot!!!!!!!!!!!! "
18 Sep 2005	Melanie 'Coffee Goddess' Wood	Loading... Man that's creepy, but in a really good way. Looks like something I'd see in a bad dream, but he's the good guy you know? He's all running toward me happy and waggling his tail around like "throw the ball, throw the ball!" And then this giant chicken comes up and tries to eat my head, right? But the puppy-skeleton thing rips out the chicken's neck and the gore just makes me puke, you know? And the puppy's all like, "hey it's okay, NOW THROW THE FRIGGIN' WOMAN!" Ever have that dream? Did that make any sense at all? I think my parent's house is filling up with gas right now... J. Anette Jallow replies: ".... .............. ehm sure. I've had similar dreams. Like the one with the tooth fairy. Those pokemon chickens ate a lot of heads in that dream. Though I didn't have an outstarved horse-puppy-skull saving me =.= No it's no gas Melanie, its the opium I dropped in your coffe. AND I WANT IT BACK! "
