| 4 Oct 2003 | Joni Warden | Loading...Thank you for your comments and defense of my representation of what an angel would look like..TO ME. I appreciate all forms of ideals though sometimes I may not like what I see, I still see a worth in it's concept. Your art is soooo CUTE!!!! Those large ears make them so adorable! Joni Warden Rebecca Jean Miller replies: "You're welcome and thank you too! (The Artist refers to her picture "Rhapsody") I know that there are those who will make such unreasonale comments just to get a rise out of people and I try not to take that bait, but there is also a person with feelings recieving the comment. Yes they can just be deleted but I'd rather not see them in the first place. Such comments are only appropriate if the piece is blatently obvious, but then it should not be up on elfwood in the first place. Most people here don't need to be reminded that there exsist things outside a "box". But sorry, some of us don't have the skill yet to ge beyond everyones "box". Help us truly improve, don't make it a game to see how many people you can tick off. I'm glad you like my art...I do sometimes draw small eared elves...but that's just so done that I needed to play with it a bit. And having studied wildlife for many years I didn't really think 2 inches of ear beyond human normal would really give such amazing hearing as elves have...so I'm trying to do what I think it would have to be.Alright, I've probably covered about half of my own page here...but somethings just have to be said. Thanks and take care " | |

Rebecca Jean Miller replies: "Thank you, thank you very much . That's pretty much what I've done of late, unless it's something I have utterly no knowledge of, like how to hold a flute. I greatly appreciate this vote of confidence Please keep an eye here for an update due anytime know, I've got about 1000 places to go in the queue. Thank you again and best of luck to you!" | |

| 30 Jan 2006 | Sofia Nilsson | Loading...I like your gallery a lot, I think you´ve got many original ideas and all of your pictures are very pretty. I wish I could draw expressions as good as you can, but I guess I´ll have to practise. Thanks for a lovely visit at your very nice gallery, I will be back!(sorry, for my bad english) Rebecca Jean Miller replies: "Thank you very much. Me, expressions, really... if you say so. And I do try to be creative with my works, that's where the real fun lies once you feel you aren't going to mess it up . I do hope to see you through again. Also, don't worry, if I could write and probably talk another language as well as you do I'd be happy as a clam. (yea, don't ask me about the expression either )" | |
