	The purpose of this Design 1 project was to create a large poster in color, with text. Because the project had to be created with real media (as opposed to computer tools), I chose to use acrylic paint for the character and dragon, and India ink for the type. The type at the bottom turned out a little squished and muddled, but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out.

(maybe it's a stupid question, but I wondered.) Becky Reck replies: "Thanks for the comment! We couldn't do any of our projects on computer in Design 1, actually. This way, we could get a feel for various types of real-media as well. That's my guess, anyhow. "
