There used to be these abstract landscape-ish ink drawing on display in my university's art building, and it inspired me to do something different from what I usually do. I'm satisfied with the result; in fact I think I need to do more stuff like this. It needs a better title though X)

Done almost completely in photoshop (I hand inked the wyvern and scanned it in). Finished March '04

You know what? This would seriously look dweet as a stained glass pane! Heck, it looks rather stained glassey already, with it's bright colors and simple and understated yet bold lines (oooh, I got technical sounding sorta >_>). Not that it's not fine as is: in fact, it rules as is! But all the more reason to translate the mediums! =DOoooh...this would look neat as stained glass. It would be really hard to pull off, I think, but I'd be up for it. Too bad stained glass stuff is rather expensive...better start saving up my money XD

It's great. you choosed the right colours....ok I join Dan L, the colours could be a bit more bright, but wonderful work. Most of the colors I sorta picked at random...just whatever came into my head. I just couldn't get the image of a floating blue eye with a primarily red background out of my head until I did it. I never thought to brighten the colors; I figure it might get overpowering, but I can always fiddle with the brightness/contrast of the picture 12

Personally, I think that the colors are fine. I like the contrast with the reds and blues in the picture, and I think that if the colors where any brighter they would mess up the picture. *nods* I like it as it is.I played around a bit with the brightess/contrast, as well as the saturation...it doesn't look too bad if the colors are intensified a little bit, but after a while the red highlights become too overpowering. So I'll keep it the way it is, heh. thanks for the comment!
