Yes your art is very similar in style to Alan Lee, even the framing takes on the same semblance. I enjoy your stylized characters, they have such a softness to them that seems to create a sense of magic in all of your pieces. You're talented, it has been an inspirational experience viewing your art Christopher.

:-) Christopher bell replies: "i thank you for your comments,i am glad to have inspired as many have inspired me"

I think Your art-pieces are very beautiful. However in my admiration, I must ask You, How do You make those white frames like in "Shadowfaxe"?
And are Your pieces in Watercolor?

From Ju...

:-) Christopher bell replies: "the frame on shadowfax, and on all my other stuff ,is just drawn in with the rest of the drawing, very lightly with a pencil and ruler.and they are ,bar a few exeptions which i will add soon,in watercolour with a little salt thrown into the sky or on the grass etc.thanks"

That's just so beautiful! Your work reminds me a lot of artists such as Allan Lee, very soft and detailed. The contrast of colors you used for the dawrfs and snow-white is wonderful, it give this picture a special feel.

:-) Christopher bell replies: "to remind you of alan lee is a fine compliment in my eyes.lee is one of my"heroes"!thank you"

there is something odd about Snow White's face, but other than that the picture is perfect! the dwarves in the frame are magnificent, and the trees look so real that for a few seconds I thought it was a photo!

Those dwarves are just fantastic, great lighting on their faces, and I like that you got them all in there. Snow White looks a little 'old' for me, but everything else is perfect!

12 This is so completely beautiful. I’ve been looking for some quality pictures of my favorite fairytales, and I think this is one of the best I’ve seen. For one thing, I love regal and beautiful you made your Snow White; I can definitly see her holding the title ’Fairest of Them All’. Also, I love how you’ve drawn the Seven Dwarves, and how they all have a distinct personality to them. I think that increases the richness of the picture.

I love how you’ve done Snow White and the Seven Dwarves! This is how I imagine Jacob and William Grimm wanting them portrayed. Perhaps you could do some more pictures of some of the famous fairytales: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Puss in-Boots, the Little Mermaid, etc. 1 I think you’d do a fantastic job!

Oh WOW!! I’ve never thougth of this story in such a grown up way before. it reminds me of LOTRs. Snow White looks so beautiful and mysterious!
