Well, I wanted to try something new. Not often do I do back-shots or nudity, so what the hey. Here's Sekhmet doing something magical with an Eye of Ra. I'm rather proud of this piece, despite all the trouble it gave me along the way. Learned some new trick tho', and that makes me happy.

General reply to comments:
Tail would come off the end of the tailbone, which is much further down the body than most people realize, so often when artists give humanionds tails it is actually too high. (Otherwise, where else would the tail come out from, the nose?)

Eye of Ra and Eye of Horus are mirror images of eachother. Eye of Ra faces left, Eye of Horus faces right. Together they're extra special.

I love the egyptian and Furry art mixed. Wonderful coloring and action. Pics that move are refreshing and very hard to do. Great work!

the eye is called an udjat eye or the eye of horus, not the eye of ra. the meaning behind it is protection.
Good pic though

WHAT IS WRONG WITH U PEOPLE!! i have to agree with the artist, the tail is actually in the correct spot, the piercing is awesome, and the fact that she is partially nude brings it to the point that she is a goddess and has no shame of her body. it is a true symbol of "simple is beautiful" bravo, it really is a wonderful piece!

by the way, that anonymous2 dude up there has an uber PERVERTED mind! lol

Actually Egyptian heiroglyphs can be read any of four directions (horizontal:left to right or right to left, and vertical: left to right or right to left) it all depends on the way the symbols are facing, so it could be the eye of Horus OR Ra, depending on how you want us to read it. I'm assuming then that you want it to be read left to right?
