Tag As FavoriteComment		This one was for my Digital Independant class. My chosen theme is 'Inspiration through Music.' So when I'm inspired by a song, I do a picture. This one was inspired by the Eagles' Witchy Woman, heard on Halloween afternoon. It's Sekhmet, my best friend's character.

The background was done in Painter 6, while Sekhmet was done in Photoshop 5, 2001.

Awww! I like this one, too - even though I still think She looks rather like a cat instead of a lioness. I like the half-moon irises you gave Her. What a killer Halloween card this would make! Get an agent!

I LOVE the shiny, glowy, tinsel stuff dangling in the wind! It's a nice touch. It really brings out something in the rest of the picture, since the rest is pretty dark. A question about the title: What's a Sekhmet?Liz says: Sekhmet is her name.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! EAGLES SONG INSPIRED!!! YESSSSS!!! OOOO OOOO WITCHY WOMEN!!! SEE HOW HIGH SHE FLIES!!! The Eagles are seriously the best band that ever lived and ever will. And I adore this picture. It brings thatgreat song to life.

Y'know, this is the first piece I ever looked at on Elfwood, back in 2003? I was supposed to be researching Egyptian goddesses for a web design...oh well.
