| 7 Nov 2003 | Laura Russell | Loading...Hey Andrew!!! You have some great stuff here; as was mentioned, the shading is class. Plus, you're a Theoretical Physicist (in training) :] Keep it up - I'll check back lots!!!!! | |
| 17 Nov 2003 | AstroCat | Loading...Haha..I'm student of Chemical Engineering who loves daydreaming away into fantasy worlds =] You've got some pretty good drawings! Keep it up! You know what? I suck in Physics, but loved theoretical physics (e.g the wacky QUANTUM WORLD (excluding the E-levels in atoms) and the 3-4th Dimension, etc.) Andrew Berridge replies: "Quantum mechanics is the single weirdest and most interesting thing ever. Hurrah for all scientists!" | |
| 6 Dec 2003 | Phil "Small Cakes" NW phil_nw@yah...com> | Loading...Well, I just found this site and thought I'd just note that I've seen Andrew's early attempts at drawings over the years and they're rubbish. Only joking... Anyway hope physics is better than compsci. There seem to be more dragons and women in it, for a start... Andrew Berridge replies: "Not as rubbish as your early attempts at programming!
And yeah, physics is all bras..."

Just keep going, always try to use reference, try to use tone more and line less. And I only ever stop rocking for a good bit of jazz..."
| 18 Dec 2004 | Johanna Alm | Loading...If you were wondering what the "secret of my success" is, why I started shading more, you will get it: Check out Mike Burley's site at Elfwood (if you haven't done it already). He's got a tutorial about scribbling which I checked out before I went to Thailand. That inspired me to develop my shading. And if you wonder why I'm writing to you here: I didn't wanna write ANOTHER e-mail (I think I've written three to you right now) so I thought that Elfwood would be a good place to communicate to you. And check out Carrie Hall's new website (again, if you haven't done that already) some of her pics has unbelieveble poses. I don't know if they're realistic or anything, but it's fun to see =) Andrew Berridge replies: "Will do. Don't want to melt your email, so I won't email this reply to you..." | |

| 8 Jul 2006 | Johanna Alm | Loading...Hey Andrew! Hope you haven't forgotten me by now I'm roaming the pages of Elfwood, and once again, I've started painting fairies and such. Having severe problems with my wings (perspective of course...) but hopefully my page will be updated shortly with some new drawings (one or two). I just have to remember how to login all over again I'll just mail Elfwood I guess. Anyway, happy summer and hopefully you'll be seeing more of me here soon! Andrew Berridge replies: "Who is this stranger that leaves such odd messages?... Glad you're back! How are you? As you can see I've slowed down a bit too, I'm not sure if I've painted anything since we last spoke. Curse this time-gobbling work goblin!" | |
