| 25 Nov 2003 | <<TwennyfiveShinies>> <dyZz | Loading...Wooooooowww!! Okay! First of all, in the picture, the background behind the tiger is wonderful! It's crazily simple and yet you can practically see an entire jungle leaping out at you, just from the simple suggestion of a few leaves and a darker forest underbrush. Wow. The tiger itself is perfectly posed. It could almost be a normal tiger if it weren't for those back legs- which are fabulous, I might add. The vibrant, red-orange color of the tiger's coat is magnificent in itself, and his (I want to call it a he... I hope I'm right... ...Yeah... xx; ) stripes are so detailed and natural. If it weren't for the fact that the entire forest was green and blue, dog gonnit, he'd blend in perfectly! Maybe we should move him to a savanna or something... ...Haha, don't mind me, I'm kinda stupid. Anywho. I love his tail and his face, and his paws. And his legs. And everything about him. Wow. Just wow. As for the poem, I've never heard it, but your calligraphy puts me to shame! So perfect! Aggghhh! I'm so jealous. x_x; And that border that you put around it is wonderful also. I think the thing I like the most is the fact that the tiger, with his bright, vibrant orange coat, contrasts so beautifully with the muted shades of the forest behind him, so you don't miss a single detail of him. He's so perfectly drawn, perfectly posed, and perfectly striped. Stripes. I love stripes. Stripes are glorious. Anywho, off to the next picture! | |

In what distant depths or skys burnt the fire of thine eyes? On what wings dare they aspire? What hand dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder, and what art could twist the sinews of thy heart? And when the heart began to beat what dread hand and what dread feet?
And when the stars threw down their spears and watered heaven with their tears, did He smile, His work to see? Did He who made the lamb make thee?
Tyger, Tyger, burning bright In the forest of the night, What immortal hand or eye DARE frame thy fearful symmetry?
my favorite poem. you should make a pic for the sister poem, "the lamb" | |
