The way you rendered the structures of the skull and wing bits is especially pleasing and I love the drapping of the hide. My only complaint is that the pic, as a whole is a bit too muddy and I would like to see the details a bit better.
The little dude grinning from behind the tree cracks me up...nice touch.Thanx for commenting! I know it's a bit muddy and dark,but it's mainly the scanner's fault.You know what those things tend to do to drawings...Without the tiny bit of re-touch I made after scanning,it would be even worse! | |

One thing I noticed though is that he while his scaly hide is sort of hanging off all rotting and tattered, I can't see that much in the way of frayed muscle tissue. Some of that would go a long way in making him more realistic and creepier. ^_^ I really love how his torn wings resemble the trees behind him. It almost gives him a natural camouflage. ^_~ | |
