Tag As FavoriteComment		A newly reborn phoenix cries out in joy and pain. I've been wanting to post this for ages... Well, better late than never! An Xmas gift in 2005 for my awesome mom. It had to be removed from its frame in order to be photographed; now it's back on the wall. The photo's far from perfect, I know-pieces on black paper are a tricky subject... Since we celebrate Xmas as the rebirth of the Sun (as pre-Christian cultures did) the pic had to involve fire and resurrection.

Silver, white & gold Faber-Castells on black paper.
