	Basically another "Like Father, Like Son" picture. The great and powerful stallion accompanies his leggy heir during its first flight, tailed by a rather cheeky wonderbird. Done with Faber-Castell pencils.

It's very endearing on an emotional level and has a universal beauty that goes beyond the visual representation. I love the way the wings join the shoulder so fluidly and that these beasties have claws instead of hooves.
22 Feb 2007	Cheryl D. Hensley	Loading... I love this picture. All of your art has so much detail in them. How long do they usually take to do? Well, it depends on the size and overall detail level... An average piece takes from 5 to 15 hours, while larger ones require up to 30-40. Thanks a lot for your comments!
