SciFi and Fantasy Art Bow set by Joshua Doten Davids

Ok this first set is a bunch of bows I had sitting on the books and stuff I just got commissioned to do. I got the permission of the person to post them up here for a time as well as a link to their place. visit it, he is a good writer and soon will have his first book done called the Maiden of Pain for forgotten realms. The second from the left and second from the right bows are commissioned for him for the world he is creating after the Forgotten Realms novel so please do not use them without asking me first or him. here is the link to his place where occasionally he will chat about his writing etc. http://www.kameronmf.com/

You can almost see the different layers of material that have been glued together. Joshua Doten Davids replies: "thanks so far my favorite bow is the one for Brock's Ravenblood my half orc based in Forgotten Realms, but a few of these come a close second for me."

Joshua Doten Davids replies: "Rita it is rather easy to draw out some bows. Get a sheet of paper and draw a line down the center of it each way splitting it in fourths. Then use a compass and draw a semi circle and from there sketch out the design using the semi circle as a guide that is how I do it."

25 Feb 2008	Bjørn Mathias	Loading... I like these drawings. I’m doing with bows n’ arrows my self, studying the bows from the 12’s century. The most realistic is the bow left to the very right one. The bow to the left is a very intresting, but to shoot with it’s hopeless. But fantasy is fantasy, no limits. It’s great. keep it up. Please contact me if you are intresting in bows..
