This sword i have been trying to get from my mind and onto paper, i finally managed it and i like the result. dunno what reaction this one will get. in the story it will be featured in it is the blade of a demon plagued to haunt the night and comes across some of the main characters qite a few times.

AWESOME! If you like drawing swords like these you'd like the anime Berserk. Nosferatu Zod the immortal has a sword with that very type of design!

:-) Joshua Doten Davids replies: "Lol, well in fact I have seen every episode of the anime and have two of the manga so far yeah it is one of my favorite animes of all time and even as a piece of literary fantasy fiction for me it ranks up high on the scale for character creation and setting plus story line. I haven’t read too many books that match it in quality( and I have read near 800 fantasy books so far), I did base it off Zodd’s sword but just the basic design Zodd’s second sword after Gatsu breaks it, it is more of a sweeping arc and the serration is on the back not the blade."

Amazing. Simply amazing. I am very impressed with this. You see, I create weapons made of foam and duct tape for a LARP I play, and I hope you wouldn't mind if I could try to recreate this blade. If it's cool, just e-mail me.

:-) Joshua Doten Davids replies: "thank ya and i don't mind at all, as i have said in numberous other pics feel free to use them as you see fit i don't mind people using my art what so ever."

Cool sword, the grip seems a little short, like it be unconfortable to hold, like with a part of the hand that goes past the grip, up the blade part, or down over the pommel thing (or whatever the end of the sword is called). then again you cant really tell where the handle stops and the blade begins (cause its 2d. hmm.... anyway awesome drawing

Impressive, looks like a Urak-Hi blade but the goblins actually took time to make it

The sword is actually bigger than it seems. Drawn as is, you could grip it with both hands.

It looks an awful lot like Zodd the Immortal’s sword from Berserk. Good stuff, and I like the look.
