"Jambiyah" by Joshua Doten Davids

This is my first jambiyah, I just hope it have the spelling right on this. Anyways the runes on the blade translate roughly into; “Within the waves of sand the true gods rule.” This weapon is designed for one of the nations that is situated in a great desert. The people of the desert worship elementals rather then religious gods seeing them as the true divinity of the world. Mostly fire and earth elementals are worshipped but one god is also worshipped. He was once the offspring of a fire elemental and human who rose into being a god. His main mantra is of purity of thought, focus and spirit. Personal honor is held in high regards within his church as well as the thought that fire is the only pure element and only through a fiery death can one truly purge ones soul of all sin. True paradise will come into being only once the world is purged of all sin through a fiery cataclysm brought upon by the church remaking the world into a pure state of being and from the ashes will rise the true souls.
