SciFi and Fantasy Art Spears by Joshua Doten Davids

Like many of the other sets I am doing I redid this set of spears and glaives, many of them new but I needed more space so added some of my older ones into this file.They go from top to bottum as follows.

God spear version one, i did a version before but didn't know which one best fit it. in the stories it is supposed to wound a god, so dunno which one fits it.

The next one was the Serpent spear, made to protect dragons or kill them depending if they are good or evil. if good it protects them if evil it kills them.

God spear version 2, this is the orginal drawing of the god spear, much smaller then the first one and not so elaborate in the blade design.

the next one is a broad bladed short spear, it is supposed to have a very broad blade for the size because it is for foot soldiers mostly.

in my earlier galleries i did a glaive made from bone, though i was never happy with it, this next one is one of the two new versions I did.though it is smaller then the next one it has a much broader and larger blade.

the next one is another bone glaive, eventually I will do up some metal versions of glaives for use, including many hand held glaives.

Joshua Doten Davids replies: "thank ya, but in truth i have to use rulers and french curves all the time, i have alot of nerve damage in my hands and can't draw a straight line or smooth curved line if my life depended on it, that is why some of the stuff seems not so smooth on the edges."

6 Jul 2006	Dragon lover	Loading... fantastic, just stunning. My favourite weapon of choice. I ain't a super fan of night elf or that but a spear with a half-moon shaped blade is a dream. I know that the inspiration of spears has fainted but there for let this be a little light in the darkness. You can draw and very good to so please, more spears. (not trying to sound weird if thought)
