Bjørn Grimsmo

Bjørn is a political science student who is extremely thankful for the existence of 3d-render programs.

 

 

I'm a Norwegian political science student with a strong interest in politics, science fiction and storytelling, and to a lesser degree fantasy. I consider myself a hopeless artist, and that's where 3D rendering comes into the picture; it allows people like me to draw nice-looking pictures in spite of our artistical shortccomings. Thus, my art here tends to be strictly limited to things that can be designed without too much hassle in: A: Blender 3D (like spaceships), B: Photoshop (like explosions and laser) and C: Terragen (landscapes and planets). The results, surprisingly, mostly turn out to be spaceships blowing each other apart above huge planets. War is sort of cool as long as no real people get hurt. I take a liking for radical tendencies and writers in SF/F, like China Miéville, Terry Pratchett, Ursula K. Le Guin and Astrid Lindgren, but none of these will have any noticeable influence on my art.
