I wanted to paint the feeling I sometimes get in nightmares when pursued or threatened by some large danger. If you had that kind of dream you know what I am writing about, it can be anything from a giant to a combine harvester. Anything that is large, looming and terrible because you are so small in comparison and there is almost no chance of escape. The only thing you can do is to run, hide and hope that you will be overlooked or missed because of your comparatively tiny frame. That ought to explain it.
