And considering my lack of coordination and general hyperness a music stand IS a usable weapon. Anyways, at the very least he could poke someone's eye out. The coloring job is wonderful. I can never understand how you people can be so good with markers. The perspective is awesome. It's not one I've seen very much around here.

I figure you achieved this kind of beautiful work so you must have a substantial amount or really know how to manipulate them (i'm still working at manipulating them...)i only have 12 and while i love them i can't really do a whole lot with them unless i buy more... Also what kinda paper do you use? The colors are beautiful for markers but i always have a problem with them bleeding through the paper (i killed 5 pages in my sketch book as a result of not knowing this little detail and doodling one picture...). I've tried cardstock too but it even goes through that. What did you use? Beautiful work on the details i really love the clothing and the weapon. Amazing job and congrats! Heidi M. Black replies: "Aight, lesse. I use 110lb cardstock paper, and I don't have too much trouble with the marker bleeding through that (you can buy it at office depot or staples or whatever . . . heck, even walmart usually has it)- I use the cardstock on top of a binder, so it doesn't leave any marks on the table or whatnot. I also have over 100 colors of the markers, which REALLY helps with shading and blending them. Hope that helps."

| 4 Aug 2006 | Evan A. Lind | Loading...wow! Well this pic rocks, I've not been on here in a while and to see something this great off the bat, I'll be back. Any who, awesome job on the perspective, shadowing, blade shine, feathers and well everything! I did notice however that the wrinkles on the sleeves of the jacket are a bit to symmetrical and draw me out a bit, I couldn't even come close however. Just thought I'd add my two cents of (hopefully helpful) criticism | |

When those feelings surface it's because you're sad on the inside and this is a way of protecting yourself from your own "weakness" and also because you feel that you're entitled to feel this feeling. In the end it's just one of life's many illusions. Oh, and awesome picture, it's beyond beautiful.
