SciFi and Fantasy Art Morgartha´mordae by Becky Camfield

Commonly known as Morgartha, dragon goddess of death. She collects the souls and tends to them, most are rebirthed, but some are special some deserve to be remembered and they go into the stars, (like a valhalha). She herself is quiet lethal, her claws and scythe like bone tail are extremely sharp! they have edges narrower than an atome, easily slicing anything like magic shields, sound on occasion (idea cam from terry pratchett's death of discworld) The smoke or dark aura can be dimmed to almost non existant or spread to a radius of 100metres anything it touches slowly whithers and dies unless immortal but even they can feel weak in it's presence. She can control the dead and undead-those who have escaped her, if upon meeting will be claimed by her, where she can either put them to rest or use them like an undead army. She herself can be quiet emotional, she has a caring side, but is easily angered and once your hers there is no escape. Her mate is therion the dragon of evil. She has a humanoid form (will be drawn later) that is also skeletal in places yet the face and body are fleshed and quiet attractive, yet her limbs ten to be skeletal -much like that of the norse goddess hel who in some cases is said to be half alive half dead. Another of my dragon gods-ish slowly working through them and i think i got to redo some of them >.< anyways after being killed by my scanner i tried to save it and then added the aura in paintshop pro -still not too sure on it hmm. Anyways i love her head hehe dragon skull whoo, and yes i know the aura is purple and yellow in places and i dunno why >.< morgartha (c) to me
