More of a detailed concept sketch than a finished drawing. Just another death bird ( i've done three in total now heh) seems to be a lil series. The first was death's messenger, and is still my favourite, but i do like the head in this drawing. Just annoyed at body feathers, but i rushed them ><
Anyways this one is based off the rare, thought extinct northern bald ibis. Done using hb, 2b, 4b and 6b pencils.

I looked up this bird. It is actually not extinct.

:-) Becky Camfield replies: "I didn’t say it was extinct, it was thought to be extinct untill they found a surviving population so it is now just very rare."
