"Great Crested Gryphon" by Anna E. Lawton

	A twist on the traditional eagle/lion gryphon - this one's a Great Crested Grebe/Jaguarundi cross, with a lion's tail (cos I like the tassle). There are some flaws in this piece, but overall I quite like it. Done with coloured pencils and ink on calligraphy paper (my new favourite), and manipulated in Photoshop.

I always thought crested grebes would make good phoenixes, myself. Well... aside from being water birds... I think I'll shut up now.
