Yes, yet another character from that Chloe story in yet another hair-blowing in the wind anime pose. ^.^ Gosh, Using the bezier line tool is a really nice for getting smooth lines, but using it too much makes things with lots of wrinkles, like clothing, look stiff, which is why I'm probably going to use it less as I have a wacom tablet. Anyway, here's the info on the character: Tebithea comes from a race long thought extinct, called the Keepers of the Wind. They are able to control air flow, thus able to influence the weather, winds, currents, etc. In reality, they have no tangible forms, but can shapeshift into imitations of them, such as the humaniod shape that Tebithea is using in this picture. However, if someone manages to freeze them into this shape for a long period of time, they slowly weaken and die. Tebithea the daughter of the current leader, Sirocco, and is rather aloof and cold, due to her inhuman nature and knowledge that she too will be in her father's place one day.

13 Mar 2002	Rebecca Kraft	Loading... I love it! gives a disgusted look at her work I can't draw people so this pic makes me jealous. I love the coloring. The only fault I can find is that the ears are a bit big. Whitney B. Mattila replies: "Don't put yourself down. ^_^ It's a bad habit. Goodness knows I do that when I see someone do a gorgeous drawing of something with metal. ^__^ As for the ears, they are meant to look a little unatural. Of course, alignment wise they may be a little shewed. x_x "

Love this one too..the purple hair blowing in the wind is a nice effect but i have two questions, one, what is the writing on the top of the pic mean? and two, why are the ears long? i mean i luv them but i have to ask because it seems most of your pics of people have long pointy ears... it's interesting though and helps shapen the face in my opinion Whitney B. Mattila replies: "I'll be happy to answer your questions. ^_^ The text is Latin and more or less translates to: "They change the sky, but not their souls, who hasten across the sea." I thought the bit, which I got from this page ( http://w1.871.telia.com/~u87112797/show-off.html ) was pretty fitting. As for the ears, when I want to do oddly shapened ears, I tend to like to make them as weird as I can. ^_^"
