The two pirates remind me of the movie 'Pirates of the Carribean'. Your shading is beautiful, and I think you definitely draw people very well. The pirate on the right is my favourite! The clothes look great, I really like how you've done the wrinkles in them. I find it hard to draw clothes (and people too), but I can see that you can draw people excellently! Bien fait! The only advice I can really give is that, if it's possible, the eye of the man on the right would look better less dark. Marlčne Blanc replies: "Thank you Sophie! You have a very good grasp of what a person's face looks like front on and side on. The shading is overall good, but needs more contrast in some place, like above the left character eye (There's always a lot of shadow between the eyes and the eyebrowes), and below the right one neck (more contrast in dark zone). <br>So he's telling him a secret, Maybe if you had put a hand on the right character near the left one ear, like if he wanted to cover the sound with his hand. It would also put more dynamics in the pic. Good work!!! | |
