Marlčne Blanc replies: "oops! Sorry for the "his husband".Art is not the only thing i have to improve i guess...LolI gonna correct that! Thank you very much for your comment." | |
| 29 Apr 2004 | Sophie 'Photosoph' Matthews | Loading...This is another great picture! You've drawn the clothes wonderfully, and the light shading looks very good, especially on the lady's clothes. Beautiful! ^_^ Marlčne Blanc replies: "Thank you!! Well you know, now I'm watching this picture,I realize that there's a problem with the lady's face and her ear's position...(I'll improve that!)For the light on the lady's clothe,I used a rubber...Easy technique I guess, the novice's one! Thanks again for your nice comment!" | |
| 14 May 2004 | Dennis Drury | Loading...I really like your facial studies, both this one and the "Pirates." You do facial proportions very well, and shading well also. And the expressions are good. But what I like especially about this one is that you made the maidservant elderly. Especially to us guys, part of the fantasy in "fantasy art" is that "in those days" the women were all young and pretty. This is of course not only unrealistic, but is quite silly, when you think about it. You did a good job of making one character look like a young adult, and one quite a bit older, and I salute you for it. And I should add that their clothing looks a lot more realistically medieval than the skimpy outfits we guys like to draw... Marlčne Blanc replies: "Well thank you!! This picture is taken from one of my story's illustrations. I want my legend looks as if it had happened in the past. So I put some words of the epoch and some details about clothes and behaviours which sound realistic.I make a lot of searching in that field actually. In that Story I wanted to show that nobody is perfect, that everybody can make faults. This story is really important for me because it is marked with my "little" life experience and with what happening (sadly) all around the world...Thank you again for your comment,it's really nice from you!!" | |
