I would like to know,is this really the Ben Murphy from AS&J? It's interesting that I am watching an AS&J rerun as I write this,"Exit from Wickenburg". I admit some things make me wonder. I don't think the real Ben would joke about suicide or killing himself after Pete. Also, I am positive that you hate the cold weather so why is your "spot in the world" up in the north part of the east coast? Also, why no new additions to the web site?

Humm yes.... I've been wondering for years about this "Ben Murphy". Sorry to burst everyones bubble but Ben is in England right now and I have just had the two nicest afternoons chatting and getting to know him. I spoke to him about Elfwood and he says it's nothing to do with him, he doesn't write stories and doesn't even own a computer. Now then Mr."Alias" Ben Murphy I'm sure underneath everything you're a very nice guy, but to carry own allowing everyone to believe you are someone you are not is just plain childish. Stop accepting fan mail which is not yours by right.

I have never been much for western movies or television, but I love history in it's self I live in Washington State and I don't know if you heard the real Hanble Hays died in washington, along with Leroy Parker(Buch Casdy) about twenty miles from my home town, the civil war is my favorite time in history, been to a lot of the battle sites, but there is just something about watching your t.v shows' that make me feel just like I'm there with you having fun. I cant say I was around when the first went off the air but i find myself needing to be home at 3:00 to watch or record them to wach later. After Pete Deul passed away the show's not the same, but have your nice smile to look at. It will be 35 years this December since he passed and he will still live on forever, in my heart and the hearts of everyone that he touched the lives of, and his work will never be forgotten... as well as yours.
