	Only the one who has no fear will pass the gate of truth. "Are you faithful young traveler?" The big tree said and opened his big mouth ... (drawn with pencils, then colored with watercolors. Retouched in Photoshop, 50% watercolor, 50% Photoshop I think. Combining those techniques is very interesting ^^)

14 Jun 2008	Katie Verdigris Smoke	Loading... WOW this is amazing, a great mixture of mediums that really works well here. I love the tree-face and the swirling portal. The squirrel-mount is so cute! Do the teeth close like a portculis if you’re not faithful enough? This is a truely magical scene, I love the sort of misty spirits you can see in this and the almost liquid background. I absolutely adore it. ^-^
