You have a talent for water colour that’s for sure. I was persoannly never any good at it. I like the movement and the flow in the picture great contrast in the outlining did you use a pen or ink or something for that or was it pure water colour? I like the asian look and the way the dress falls more simply it doesn’t have too many wrinkles and make you want to look at a 100 places at one. I like the darker look of this one. And I love the effect on the background.

I enjoy so much using watercolours even if sometimes I’m getting very nervous...
For the outlining I’m using a 00 brush and black ink.

You have a good sense of colour in this one. the background is based on a cold colour-scheme, while the main motif is more warmly coloured. this makes the subject of the painting pop out more from the background, and makes whatever is in the background seem more distant than if the whoile painting was only warm or only cold.

its a very good picture. the paportions and everything is very well done. it reminds me of Amy brown if you look at her art it might insipre you to draw more. ^.^
