SciFi and Fantasy Art Flying High by Taben Roye

Pretty picture of the purple gryph flying high above the Earth. There was a lot of inspiration in this peice. I was wondering what it would feel like to be given wings to fly and new that to be able to experience that must be something of great joy. This picture came out of those feelings and I found myself envious of everyone's favorite purple Gryph. Hope she likes it as much as I loved drawing it.

I see a lot of griffs as I look for them, and some have well done feet, and some should keep their feet hiding. These- are among the best! Only problem is... the great detail there... doesn't quite fit the rest of the picture! Oh well, you were going for the feeling of joy in flight, and you got that. Well done!
