I really do hope to see more, one suggestion I do have is to post clearer pics, they were kind of hard for me to see, maybe if you add more light when taking the pictures it would help. At any rate you have a true talent *applauds* Alf Tobias Vierth replies: "Yes, I definitely agree about that. My sculpting experience is perhaps around fifteen years long. My photoexperience... about half a year. I'll try to work on getting better pics in the future and - above all - to combine pics so I can post all sides of a sculpt in one picture. I'm very new to this photoediting stuff to.Thanks for liking what you saw anyway " | |

| 20 Oct 2004 | Oliver Jöhnk | Loading...What do you exactly mean with 'wannabe sculptor of miniatures'. These are obviously very well sculpted miniatures and I wish I were able to work in this size (though I plan to give it a try since a looooong time). Your work is great and even more I like the fact that you show a bit how you make your miniatures. Keep up your great work and let your gallery grow a lot, as far as your family and your job let you some time. Alf Tobias Vierth replies: "I'm glad you like them. Well since I sculpt miniatures I obviously am a sculptor of miniatures. That I would be even if i were a lousy sculptor of miniatures ;-). What I meant was for the gaming industry or something equivalent, that is - being able to maybe make some money out of it (as a sidebusiness - don't think I'd want to do it full time)Try some greenstuff. You'll probably hate it in the beginning, it takes some getting used to, but after a while you discover its unique qualities." | |

| 23 Jan 2005 | Oonagh R. McAreavy | Loading...These are amazing pieces of work. Do you paint them once they're finished? I've always envied sculptors. You can really bring your ideas close to life. I have about as much mechanical skill in my hands as a blind pig wearing boxing gloves. Alf Tobias Vierth replies: "I can draw - a little bit. I'm worthless at painting miniatures though. Since I've allready ruined a couple of my old sculpt by painting them I will now wait until I have casts of them before I start experimenting in that field again" | |
