This is my friend Anastasia again. She is my favourite model and I love drawing her. I added the Art Nouveau bit to try to give the picture more character. This is my first attempt to paint roses in acrylic!
This is acrylic and coloured pencil on Bristol board.

Absolutely beautiful... I love the highlights in her hair, and even though the colors around her are soft pastels, I love how dignified she looks with her dark hair and exotic jewelry. It deserves mod's choice.

The attention to skin tone and the capturing of the soft fleshy body is absolutely lovely. You can really sense the physical presence and 'weight' of the body...a nice contrast with bubbles. The attachment of wings, however, seems a bit jarring...not that I object to the wings themselves...nicely done...but there would necessarily be very powerful bone and muscles connecting the wings to the body..Otherwise these wings could never lift the body off the ground.I'd suggest attaching the wings higher on the shoulder blade...so it grows out of that bone, then bring the muscles down so they could embrace the rib-cage. Image a reverse of wearing a very heavy backpack..where would the weight be borne by the body? Now reverse that and consider where the 'lift' of the body would have to be.
I don't think this would detract from the overall effect you are implying..that this is a delicate fairy...in fact it would reinforce the fantasy effect ...because it would not draw attention between the disparity of the real corporeal flesh and frail wings.
Keep up your extraordinary visions. I find 'real' bodies heartbreakingly beautiful!
