Originally, this sword was a kind of legendary artefact in my RPG campaign. Over the years I realized that a flaming blade is pretty corny, so I decided to get rid of it. During an adventure, the blade was magically turned into a cloud of orange butterflies - accompanied by the comment: „It’s a lot prettier this way, don’t you think?„ – Oh, erm, don’t tell me anything about the obvious metaphorical connotation – I realize that, and, frankly, it’s exactly what I was aiming at...

The butterfly also sets off the pic by giving such a weapon that could have been used for terrible evil another chance as a simple perch for a weary insect. Nice job.
