After 'Draco' had turned out pretty satisfactory, I tried to colour something more complex. This thing turned out quite massive in amounts of disk space and time. The drawing itself was kind of a reaction to all those 'noble savage, cute bunny' elfs the genre seems to be stuffed with. I was looking for an air of nobility coupled with an (un-)healthy dose of suspicion against anything that's not an elf.

Isnt the left lower arm and hand too big? Otherwise, very nice coloring.

Nice work on the blade and armor, you captured the visage extremely well. Great job!

Finally a proper elf. "Fair and terrible..."

Very interesting costume design. Nice coloring job. The only thing that really bugs me is that his left forearm is too long in comparison to his right. Other than that......Very nice. I also like how he's not all nice and in some pose. Nice expression.

This is certainly one of the best coloring jobs ive seen on this visit and i really think that you should start drawing(and coloring) in comic books, i would certainly bye them!

Man, this reminds me of an elven character in my novel series, Xijova. He is an elven lord who is banished for consorting with a orphaned human girl and practicing dark magic and eventually becomes a powerful shadowknight/lich. At first he seems like a bad name for the elves, but soon it is discovered the elves are no better, they practice druidic sacrifical rites (even with their own kind), absolutely hate humans and dragons (with damn good reason) and they are desperately amassing weapons and armies to eradicate their enemies. I couldn't possibly hate happy, sylvan elves more.

I love your picture. The armor, the helmet everthing is just beautiful. I was wondering would you allow me to use this picture as one of my characters for a fantasy rpg i'm in. I'd obviously give you full credit. (No one would EVER believe i made this anyways)

I would personally like to volunteer for testing those suspicions. Oh yes, the picture... Elongated-ish-ness. Lovely.
