Great illustration...the garb is excellent, and the staff looks great. I like the way you do backgrounds.In fact, the five image series was conceived as both an exercise in personality and garb. Far too often, RPG characters are dressed in the classical "Oh, you know, a... kind of shirt, and ...umm... breeches, black I think and, yeah - boots, too." style, which I think is a bit... uninspiring. Sometimes it's better to be a bit detail-obsessed (or is it anally retentive?).As for the serious look of the entire party... we had our share of fun (or 'weirdness' I'd rather say), I just wanted the sketches to reflect the campaign's mood... neither of them survived it, after all... | |

I've toyed with the idea of making the lower part transparent, but that did't work out either. Any suggestions? | |
