When I started with that one I just wanted to work a bit on the sky which I was not really satisfied with in the original drawing. After I had done the clouds the character himself seemed a bit flat, so I went on to give him some 'volume' as well.

The sky is absolutely beautiful. And the rest of the picture isn't bad too 12 I like his pose, and the clothes and the cape that becomes transparent (I spelled this wrong, didn't I?)Great picture!

that sky is absolutely breathtaking, the combination of light along with the darks in the figure fill the work with an air of dark foreboding, excellent

This is the best piece I've seen today. Is it airbrushed? Keep up the good work!

I have an idea as to why the character looks kinda flat. It may by the way the light hits him. It looks like the sun is behind him, but the way the light hits him, it makes me think of the sun being towards his right. Maybe that's not it. Just thought I sugges it to you. I do love the clouds though. I also like the colors and the expression on his face.Groan...don't get me started on the lighting in this one. The sun in his back and the blade reflecting light...wonder what I was thinking at the time. Well, in fact when I drew it, I did a - rather crappy, in retrospect - flashing off the blade, and one purpose of colouring the image was to get rid of that. The sun in his back looked better for the image layout, I think... so just imagine that the reflection on the blade is from the photographer's camera or whatever...

Wow, you are a phenomenon. I can't say anything, I don't know what to say.
