Oliver is a history student who has finally decided to pick up the pencil again. And it feels good!
 
 
 
Whew... back again. Rereading my first bio I found it to be a bit on the wordy side, so I decided to trim it a bit. Most of the stuff is still valid; altough I’ve turned 28 and am finishing my studies (history, that is), I'm still looking for a looser style... Influences - at least the conscious ones - are still people like Bosch, Dürer, Ian Miller, Mignola without any attempts at actual emulation. I’ve recently found some great art in the form of Piranesi’s ‚Carceri‘; they made me consider doing some nice atmospheric interiors... ah, well. Content matter is still mainly RPG-influenced; as I said before, it gives a nice focus to my creative work ... besides, there is still sooo much to illustrate...
Right now, I’m going for a monthly upload schedule; I’ve still got enough material left to last for a couple of months (although I have yet to scan most of it) ... and there’s always more stuff coming up (gaagh... it’s like an addiction... must... draw - Must... draw...).

04-16-01: The ‚Is-That-Supposed-To-Be-An-‘ Upload: ...and for the next couple of months this’ll be the final one, as well, since the exams should require most of my time. Feel free to return in summer, though.
- Dropped the old version of the ‚Cathedral‘, added two character sketches (‚Flam‘ & ‚Ploetzbogen‘) and ‚Hunter And Prey‘. Go there. Now.

Wow! I love your artwork! Are some of them in ink? I wish I could draw in ink. I just like to be able to erase I guess. I like how your characters have such personality. Keep up the awesome work!
