'He watched the last rays of sunlight sparkle on the horizen, the great winds buffeting him on his perch. The frothy waters below crashed against the rock on which he clung to, but still he watched. He had to see; he had to see the sun go down. For this was the last time it would ever set.' This was drawn in ballpoint again (le sigh) and then colored in PS7. *Updated. I fixed the back mountain some more as well as the water.

I like your technique of making the objects in the foreground accentuated and the objects in the background faded. It really draws focus to the important parts of the picture.

I'm really interested in the full story, if there is one. I'm curious as to whether the tears (markings? I'm assuming they're tears...) are meant to be tears of blood. Or something...I like the motion in the hair. It really sets the environment. And I seriously want to fangirl the fin. 2

:-) Ryan Bourret replies: "The "tears" are actually just markings on his face, but they are meant to look like blood tears, so either way your right 2 As for the story, not really much of one, but I may amalgamate (sp?) the idea into other stories. Thanks for the nice comment 2"

I am glad I didn't see the page count while I was flipping through these. I don't know if I would have stayed to see al that I have. You have so many good drawings as opposed to those who have one or two and then have 60 other just okay ones.

You're artwork truly inspires me, I think with every picture I see a story starts popping into my head. Absolutley fantastic, I'd love to see some marvel work from you though, say Venom?? I think your rendition would be terrific.Thank you ery much for all the nice comments. I really appreciate you taking the time to check out this gallery. Did you just find it randomly? Anyways, I actually have a sketch of Venom on my computer at my work right now, though it's nothing special. I don't draw him like most modern artists do these days. Instead I use a toned version, like McFarlanes initial Venom design. Anyways, thanks again!
