| 7 Oct 2008 | '' AlpineBob '' | Loading...Cool Gallery! And I notice you like celtic/bluegrass music, so I’m going to recommend you check out Contra Dancing if you haven’t already. It’s always done to live jigs and reels (some bands write their own stuff and put a modern spin on things, but most are pretty traditional), so even if you don’t dance it is a fun listen. But the dancing is pretty easy and fun, basically walking to the music in various patterns with other people. Sounds simple, but the patterns can get complex. It’s one of my fave things ever, as you might guess.
