	I am trying to learn raytracing and rendering and this is one of my Myst-like pieces. I did several versions of this one and I'm still not finished. I guess I'm never finished with this stuff.

One thing that might help the effect might be to add texture ( if you've got the patience to wait longer for a render). What program did you use? MAYA? It's very Myst-like, which is cool. Never could figure out any of the puzzles in that game except for the zodiac coordiantes bit. Hope you fared better! Welcome to the Zone! Bonnie Phillips Gardiner replies: "I am a Myst junkie! I loved all the games! Yeah... I could add texture. I made this a while back before a HUGE render I did that took five hours to do. (It's called "The Fountain Room" and it's in my galleries on my personal site.) Now I try to keep it a bit simpler until I can get a newer computer anyway. I use Moray 3.3 which works in combination with Povray. I wish I had a really great 3d program but shareware will have to do for now until I can afford better. Moray works pretty well though, if I have ALOT of patience. I've noticed it seems to run much slower than most of the other programs I've played with."
