((Speaking of which, Asher totally went nuts last night and attacked me! O_o Manni disobeyed me by going into my room (where the cat food is) and I grabbed him. Asher, apparently pissed at the dog, attacked him, and I fended Asher off. He proceeded to attack me, grabbing my leg, clawing and biting. I shook him off three times before I managed to shut him in Deanna’s room to cool off. He cut me pretty badly. But then he calmed down and seemed to think nothing had happened. I am still kind of in shock. He has never been a violent cat. Geesh! Every now and then Loki will play a bit too rough, but I’ve never had that issue. Wow. Keep a close eye on the cuts--cat wounds get infected very easily. If they get red, go to the doc. No, actually I DID have a cat attack me, and that was when Mister panicked when i was trying to give him a bath. I had to go to Urgent Care for tetanus shots and antibiotics. Are you up to date on tetanus?))

Kethe: *begins to mix non-spicy ingredients, explaining the measurements to Kelron as he goes along, then he passes the dry ingredients to the centaur and tells him how much spice to add to it.*

Kelron: [isn’t exactly enjoying the cooking, but is enjoying the company, so he figures it a fair trade]

((Yeah, I have my shots. It is all healing nicely and without infection. Lavender-oil really helps, and living with an EMT helps too. She bandaged me just after it happened and off-handedly said "I love wound-care." Made me laugh, that. ))

((sorry i vanished. been rather busy/unmotivated, and now I can add sleep-deprived to all of that >_< for some reason I’ve been waking up early. last night i woke up after only 90 min of sleep--argh!))

Keenan: *has a mad-scientist attitude in the kitchen, but in this case Kelron has to be his hands. He prepares the pans and the oven, but he has to hold his breath when not actually talking*

Kelron: [also has a rather acute sense of smell, but not as bad as Keenan’s; follows along with the directions, ears flicking]

((I miss the ocean. I just got hiking boots, though, and a friend to hike with so I hope to get out in the beauty more. And the ocean in March! It is good^_^ The mountains were gorgeous this morning here.))

((yup, I’ve finally caught up on sleep. I’m taking next Friday off and am looking forward to it. *snugs* Sorry I have been quiet on here. I’m trying to pull myself out of my quiet phase. Yet again ^_^))

Kelron: [a/bemused at the extreme sensitivity to scents] Can you be ... incapacitated by an attack of scents? and no, thank you. I am not yet hungry.

((thanks, doll! It’s been great my new co-workers are wonderful and the shorter commute is GREAT. I do miss seeing my other co-workers/students on a more regular basis, but I’ll still see them time to time.))

Keenan: yes, I can. I’ve been trained to push through the pain, but there are physical responses to smell that I can’t repress. If I have warning, I can hold my breath, but if I don’t then I can be incapacitated or at least seriously handicapped.

Kelron: Good to know. *winks*

Kelron: Nothing more than what can be cooked over an open fire with as few utensils as possible.
