okay, i know that when I get criticism, that it's always better then praise, and know that my work is not perfect, nor even close, but I feel obligated to share some little things I've noticed, but every other one is something I like, to balance it out...
1. Hair, no matter how straight, always falls in slight S curves, most, but not all, of your's seem to be too straight and all together tough/coarse looking.
2. I love the interesting poses/expressions in your work. I prize originality
3.I think that the linear work that has some shading on it looks better then straight linear work
4. i love the weird root-growing-on-them creatures, they rock.
5. Eyes have highlights and pupils are almost always black, not grey, otherwise they look strange. (i.e. 'Scruffy Berry') Plus, the highlights on eyes make it so you usually have a little piece missing on the pupil (like a peice of pie missing, but with lines that aren't so straight)Look at my work "Eyes Take Two" in my gallery to see more of what I mean, eyes are the ONLY thing that I draw that I think I have almost perfect (momentary burst of pride)
6. Your sense of movement is good. moreover, I think that the works that turned out the best are the icy looking ones. I can tell that you are improving on shading etc.
7.Clothing has wrinkles. When wrinkles in cloth are drawn, it usually isn't just a black line, so try and gradually shade around the line outwards, it helps alot, believe me. (I have not yet perfected this technique myself) Even skin tight stuff has wrinkles (look at 'Kat')
8. I like the work 'Sharalun', her face is interesting, not the usual barbie type. Especially her nose, I love it!And cool smudgy-ness on the fire (fire is Really hard to draw for me *pats on the back*)

Yup, that's about it, I hope that it helped you. You are a Very talented artist and I hope to see more of your work. I bow to you..*falls over* oh well, I'll work on that...tootles!
~Kaegan CusenbaryHehee Thank you for this very detailed comment =] however, heheee, just tot u might want to know the following ^^:
1) Can't argue wif the hair part but using a mouse to draw is a bit tricky =]
2) ABout the poses.. My friends tell me i got werid taste but then again I like it that way =]
3) The Linear art was something of an old thing for me... hehee... i just put them up to see how i progress wif time.
4) Love the "Dryads" myself =]
5) And yeah I've been trying to play wif the eyes myself but normally for me I rather not edit old pictures and always looking ahead wif new ones =]
6) Thanks on this one... and i try my best ^^
7) and yes.. i'm not too good wif clothes but the one wif the best few pieces of clothes i colour have totally been rejected so.. yeah hehe
9 Smudges are easy to do wif the puter, the real fires made from physical mediums i shall always respect ^^
9) To u milady I salute~

Wow...this is such a journal of your accomplishments...You've grown SO MUCH and this gallery documents that so well. It's so neat to see other people growing and progressing with their art. It was a real joy to peruse through your gallery. Keep drawing, love. ^^

:-) Brandon Lee, The Forsaken replies: "Thanks for that eh =] But yeah i've travelled a long way from since when i started and i dun really see my destination anywhere in sight so guess got to keep going forward =] Cheers milady"

I can definitely see improvements in your work. I think your Sierra Eckos is the Crème de la crème.

:-) Brandon Lee, The Forsaken replies: "Thanks for the compliment =] I try to make it a habit to improve my technic wif each pic i do. but sometimes i just forgot what i did hehee"
26 Jan 2006:-) David Stormo
Hello! Nice work although if I may ask, how come that some of your pieces are spot-on realistic and others have a more stylized and (not meant in the bad way) juvenile style. Is it because of the materials you use on some? The purple-haired 'Kat' drawing looks so realistic, what materials did you use for those? And did you use a reference? Because the pose and face looks very familiar.

:-) Brandon Lee, The Forsaken replies: "well lets put it this way... this is gallery contains all my works since the day i started =] so i suppose its the building of skills over the years... and i just feel better branching out into realistic work rather than the cartoonish stuff =] as for Kat, it is possible if u knew her =]"

Hey Brandon do you have a myspace? XD you don't have to tell me if you don't want to

:-) Brandon Lee, The Forsaken replies: "Sadly, No, I do not have a myspace, never had the time to put up a bio anywhere else other than here. Furthermore, I think my bio here is outdated as well >.>;"
