What He Said
By Sonja Shelton
The tears are flowing softly with hurt gilt and pain
The tears are flowing softly but there is no one to blame
The tears are flowing softly as you quickly realize there’s no one here to comfort your softly flowing cries
The tears are flowing softly when you hear his name
The tears are flowing softly when you forget his face
The tears are flowing softly at school day and night
The tears are flowing softly as you go to bed you wish you were dieing you wish you were dead
The tears are flowing softly as you have a dream you dream of his dieing slowly with pain
The tears are flowing softly with every single thought
The tears are flowing softly you wish life could be bought
The tears are flowing softly when you see him dead
The tears are flowing softly when you lie down you’re head
The tears are flowing softly when you feel the wind
The tears are flowing softly when you go to bed
The tears are flowing softly you try to turn back time
The tears are flowing softly when I go up to give my speech
The tears are flowing softly but then I remember what he said
The tears may flow softly but with tears you should not cry for I am happy that I have died so let the tears stop flowing if there just for me let the tears start flowing for all that I’ve seen
I told that to the preacher and also to the crowd they all clapped with a big wow
They wanted to know if he really said that I just smiled and that was that
I still have a rose he gave to me
He gave it on our friendship anniversary
I’ll always remember him as my best friend who loved me to the very end

"I love it =] Its a nice touching poem. But however, i think u should use the words "The tears are flowing softly" too much hehe. Something shorter could do nicely maybe like "The tears flow softly" But like i said before i dunno much =]None-the-less, bravo on that poem ^^"
