Excellent work! If you wanted to convey magic instead of standing water, I would suggest adding little swirling balls of light. A masterpiece regardless.

Great job , it is very convincing. His outfit appears a bit futuristic but this may have been what you wanted. Can wizards wear gauntlets? Great work!

The Things I noticed:

-The way his cape sways is matching to the way his hair sawys= too cool!
-his left hands has the same visual structure as the staff, amazing
-His eyes are reptilian, making you wet your pants if you ever saw him in real life
-The end of his staff is beyond words.. sorry

btw: I'm a D&D DM.. and I'll be using some of your characters in my adventures because they are superb..

the thing i loved the most in this image that you drew is the staff... VERy detailed and the pattern was intricate... the colors match perfectly, and the all in all, it's outstanding... nice work!
