Tag As FavoriteComment		Subject: Birgitte prepares to loose an arrow from her silver bow.

Thoughts: This one wasn't too bad. Here, I envision Birgitte as she was in Tel'aran'rhiod, wearing a 'short white coat, and voluminous yellow trousers' (The Fires of Heaven: 14, Meetings). They are described as two thousand year old garments, yet they sound like something a modern woman might wear. Hence, defining the fashion wasn't too hard.
As far as the bow is concerned, I knew nothing about archery before doing this picture, so I did some checking. I was originally going to do a traditional English longbow, but I decided on a recurve style instead. Archery enthusiasts will probably note many things wrong with her drawing and anchoring the bow, but I'm still pleased with how it turned out.

Very cool pic of Birgitte, possibly the best I've seen of her. The bow string *might* catch on her left sleeve, however since she's such an expirenced archer, it probably wouldn't. I love the belt!

Another archer here, and I have to say, this is absolutely wonderful. The only thing is, if my instructor could see her, he would be saying, "Hand under chin!! And what's with the baggy sleeves?!".

But that's just him ;o) I think it's brilliant!
