Thoughts: Now, I don't know about you, but to me, this is the single most chilling moment in the series. I think it's partially because of the inhumanity exhibited by the Seanchan, but also because the scene (and the chapter) ends at that point, leaving what happens next up to the imagination.

Once again, deciding on perspective was the rate-limiting factor in this picture. Also, I almost made the mistake (I think) of putting a cruel smile on Renna's face. Then I realized that sul'dam would probably take no real pleasure in punishing their damane; they would probably see it as a simple matter-of-course.
