Subject: Gaul veils himself for action. Chiad stands ready at back.

Thoughts: This picture replaces my previous attempt at drawing an Aiel (if you want to see it, look here). Thanks go to Paul Postuma for his Aiel costuming guide. I wasn't happy with how the first picture came out so I felt obligated to redo it. If you compare the two, you can see I kept some of postural aspects.

Wow! I really LOVE how you've drawn Chiad. I've never really been able to get a very good picture of her in my mind, and you've done it for me. She looks really intense. Love it, again.

Yeah! Aiel! My favorites in the books -chuckles- I attempted at drawing a picture of an aiel, it turned out wonky. I love the detail of shading in your pictures . . . I could have sworn I have seen some of your pictures on DragonMount, but maybe I am losing the rest of my marbles heh. Keep up the awesome work!

Gaul's stance is done wonderfully. He looks firmly planted yet ready to pounce. You really captured the aiel feeling.

Although I'm posting this on pic# 1 of 15, this is meant for your entire series. I'm about as extreme a WOT fan as you can get. I have had some fantastic visuals of the series as I've made my way through the novels. Although I do not consider myself an artist in the traditional sense, I have been creating 3D environments for various online 3D communities for about the last 8 years. Someday I'd love to create a rich WOT 3D world environment for the public to visit, 'a la SnowCrash-like Metaverse. I just wanted to let you know that your renditions of scenes from WOT are the very best I have seen to date! Sure, there's many fantastic 3D rendered WOT scenes out there and they look spectacular when you're willing to spend the time to find those few awesome images but, your series by far captures all the right details in just the right format. The hand drawn ambience of your images fit the WOT theme perfectly! I can't think of any total WOT art series that's I've seen that captures the WOT theme so well! It's obvious you're a dedicated WOT fan and it's been such a pleasure to view your take on this great storyline! Keep up the great work, Mark!
